I’m a Senior full-stack developer and solution architect with a strong background in designing and developing high transactional enterprise applications for web, mobile and desktop platforms. Great Western Railway (GWR) is a British train operating company formerly known as First Great Western. In September 2015, the company was reborn as Great Western Railway. As part of the rebranding program, their website had to be rebuilt as well. The work was performed by <a href="http://www.ormlondon.com" target="_blank">ORM<a/>, a London-based digital agency, where I worked as a technical lead on a contract basis. </p>
<p>The project won gold medal in the Best Business Transformation category at the UK Digital Experience Awards 2015, and scored first place in the Digital Excellence category at Rail Business Awards 2015.</p>
<p>My responsibilities included defining the solution architecture, building both the frontend and backend frameworks the project had been based on, leading the development, providing technical guidance to other team members and enforcing that design patterns and best practices were being followed. In addition to that I’ve set up Continuous Integration and automated deployment, which allowed us to frequently release new features with no downtime to the user.</p>

Payment Courier provides payment services to online merchants so they can offer a more flexible payment flow to their customers. The iTropics Booking Engine is a suite of web applications and services used to search and book products from <a href="https://thetravelcorporation.com" target="_blank">The Travel Corporation</a>’s coach touring operators, such as <a href="https://www.trafalgar.com" target="_blank">Trafalgar Tours</a>, <a href="http://www.contiki.com" target="_blank">Contiki Holidays</a> or <a href="https://www.insightvacations.com" target="_blank">Insight Vacations</a>. The system, which is accessed via each brand’s website, also allows passengers and travel agents to monitor their bookings and make amendments when necessary.</p>
<p>During my employment with TTC I led a group of very talented developers and worked on exciting projects like refactoring the Booking Wizard to simplify the booking flow and improve user experience, introducing credit card fees or white-labeling the Booking Wizard. As a result, the user satisfaction and online conversion rate increased significantly. Due to the easy integration process new sales channels were opened faster than ever before.</p>

NewRiver Retail is a Real Estate Investment Trust focused on the UK food and value retail market. The project was about replacing their previous website with a modern, responsive site and rationalise the CMS architecture. I was working on this project as a contract Senior Developer during my time at <a href="http://www.purestone.co.uk/" target="_blank">Purestone TFM</a>. I was charged with defining the project structure, and was involved in building widgets for the Telerik Sitefinity CMS, and integrating with 3rd party data providers.</p>

Red Carnation Hotels is a collection of luxury, award winning 5 and 4 star family-run boutique hotels. I was commissioned to lead this project while I was working at <a href="https://thetravelcorporation.com" target="_blank">The Travel Corporation</a>, and my responsibilities were designing the architecture, leading the development and automating the deployment process. As a result, a highly customisable web application was delivered, which serves more than 15 different luxury hotel websites. Each hotel has the flexibility to shape the website to reflect its own brand identity. The personalisation module in Sitecore is used to serve content based on geographical or behavioural rules.</p>

<a href="http://www.bbarlondon.com" target="_blank">BBar</a> and <a href="http://www.thecrown-club.com" target="_blank">Crown Club</a> are restaurants owned by the Red Carnation Hotels Group. The project was about developing a customisable web application, which is capable of serving multiple restaurant sites. The website was built on top of the Sitecore CMS platform, using a component based approach and data binding. Following those practices we could really utilise the capabilities of the Sitecore Page Editor, providing extensive inline editing features to content managers.</p>

Granit VideoBank is a unique convenient banking solution, which allows customers to have personal contact with a senior expert of the bank using PC, tablet or smartphone, receive documents online and conclude transactions. The product is Hungary’s first live VideoBank service and was awarded Hungary’s “Most Innovative Bank of 2012″ by Master Card Europe.</p>
<p>I was working on this project during my employment with <a href="http://egroup.hu/main/index.php/company" target="_blank">Egroup Zrt.</a> I was involved in requirement gathering and analysis, software architecture and design, implementation, testing and producing technical documentation.</p>
